Fundsmith Equity Fund Wins Six Awards

Fundsmith LLP and the Fundsmith Equity Fund (‘the Fund’) have won six industry awards in recognition of the Fund’s performance and its simple investment approach.

A judging panel of experienced wealth managers, representing Portfolio Adviser’s readers, awarded the Fundsmith Equity Fund with the Platinum Award in the ‘Global Equity’ category at the PA Fund Awards 2017.

Leading fund research and ratings group, Rayner Spencer Mills Research, awarded the Fundsmith Equity Fund ‘Best Alpha Generation Global Equity’ at their 2016 awards. The awards recognise fund managers that are most valued by the adviser community.

InvestmentEurope chose Fundsmith as the winner of two awards in the ‘Global’ and ‘Specialist of the Year’ categories at its Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2016/17. Based on a quantitative and qualitative methodology with data provided by Morningstar, the awards recognise funds offering sustained, risk adjusted rewards to investors.

Readers of the Financial Times and Investors Chronicle selected Fundsmith as the ‘Best Unit Trust’ at the Investors Chronicle Investment and Wealth Management Awards 2016.

Fundsmith also won the ‘Global’ category at the Moneywise Fund Awards 2016. Moneywise determined its winner by looking at the top 20 retail funds over three years and aggregating their performance over three, five and, where possible, seven years. The Fundsmith Equity Fund is a member of Moneywise’s First 50 Funds for beginners.
